Tanzanian Miner Becomes Over Night Millionaire After Discovering Rare Stones Worth $3.35 million

Success has finally knocked on the door of a Tanzanian Miner, Saniniu Laizer who has earned £2.4m ($3.4m) from the country’s mining ministry for the gemstones, which had a combined weight of 15kg (33 lb).

On Wednesday, June 24, 2020, Saniniu Laizer, a father of 30 children,  after discovering the rarest gemstones which weighed 9.2kg and 5.8kg in Tanzania, the Tanzanian government  handed him a cheque of 7.74 billion Tanzanian shillings ($3.35million) for the two dark violet-blue stones during a trading event in the northern region of Manyara

However, it has already been established that the father of 30 children who has four wives vowed to use some of the money to build a school and a shopping mall in his community, where many parents can’t afford to pay for their children’s education.

The President of Tanzania, John Magufuli phoned to congratulate Laizer live on television during the presentation of his cheque.

‘This is a confirmation that Tanzania is rich,’ Magufuli told minerals minister Doto Biteko.

Do you wish this sort of luck will shine on you someday?
