The Nubian monuments are as old as can be. They are over 2000BC old archeological sites. The structures were built by the different Pharaohs at that time in Egypt.

Some of these monuments are Abu Simbel and Philae. These monuments are a sign of man’s ability to build remarkable structures even when there were not so many advances in technology at that time.

Though these monuments are called Nubian monuments, it does not mean that they were built by the Nubian individuals. This name was given based on the location of the monuments.

Some other monuments in this location are Granite Quarries, Qasr Ibrim fortress, Temples of Kalabsha, Temple of Dakka, among others. Of all the monuments, the Temple of Abu Simbel and Temple of Philae are considered the most original.
