Watch: Popular Nigerian actres- Tonto Dike, talks to BBC pidgin on why she went for a butt-uplifting surgery.

Nigerian actress Tonto Dike along with two other unidentified women have spoken to the BBC pidgin on why they had decided to reconstruct their bodies through plastic surgery.

The women said they feel more comfortable on clothes and confident since the surgery and they also acknowledge the fact that many Africans in the court of public opinion have frowned on the procedure which is currently gaining mommentum amongst ladies in particular.

Two plastic surgeons Dr Ayobami Aranmolate (Aka Dr Bum Bum) and Dr Oben Sammy of Nigerian and Cameroonian origins respectively also shared their opinion on the growing trend and also warned of the complications surrounding it. They also adviced the government to create laws to regulate the sector instead of the current absence of government will which it currently suffers.
