In time short of seven minutes, Ireti mirrors the reality of 35% of women worldwide who experience ‘love’ in the form of abuse by intimate partners.
With Yinka Moor starring as ‘Ireti’ and Abdul TJ as ‘Jacob’, her partner, we take a sombre view into the life of a woman ‘loved’ in silence and violence. The film is a heartfelt means of echoing the message that love is not abuse.
The short film was written and produced by Ayomikun Paseda who directed the film alongside Michael ‘AMA Psalmist’ Akinrogunde.
