Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen has set a new record that surpassed the record held by football icon Cristiano Ronaldo. The Series A player set the record for the highest jump done by a footballer to secure a goal for their team. The footballer is currently the new jump-king after jumping to a height of 2.58 meters, surpassing the 2.56 meters record held by Cristiano Ronaldo for the Juventus jump against Sampdoria in 2019.

Victor Osimhen achieved this feat on Sunday, February 5, 2023, during Napoli’s game against Spezia. The striker added one more goal to Napoli’s goal in the 68th minute, making the game 2-0. Osimhen scored one more goal in the 73rd minute after setting a new Serie A record minutes ago. The feat is also a personal best for the striker as his last record was 2.52 meters set against Torino at the Diego Maradona Stadium last season.
