The Nigerian Under 20 women’s team, or as they are called “Nigerian Falconets,” have continued to remain unbeaten during the group stages of the Under 20 Women’s World Cup.
The team has played 3 games in total and has won all three matches. In their latest game with Canada on the 18th of August 2022, the Falconets won 3-1. Though in the beginning the team was down by 1 goal, with 2 penalties in the first half of the match, they were able to come in front of the Canadian team.
In the final minutes of the match, C. Olise scored the 3rd goal for the Nigerian side.
