Nigerian Afrobeats superstar BNXN FKA Buju won the award of one of the highly rated categories at the Headies. BNXN won the next rated award on Sunday, September 4, 2022. The 2022 Headies was the 15th edition of the Nigerian music awards The Headies. It was held at Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta, Georgia, United States, on September 4 2022.
BNXN won the award ahead of other nominated artistes. The nominated artistes were: Afrobeats star ‘Arya Star,’ internationally recognized ‘Ruger,’ Amapiano King Zinoleesky, and ‘Monalisa’ crooner Lojay. The star who recently released his album ‘Bad Since ’97,’ also gave a spectacular performance at the Headies before bagging the award. BNXN went home with a 2022 Bentley Bentayga SUV.
