Nigerian Women’s Para Discus thrower, Goodness Chiemerie Nwachukwu set a new world record at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham. This latest feat was achieved on the 4th of August, 2022 when Goodness delivered two massive throws during the game.

She threw 34.84 in her first throw which broke her own World Record which she achieved on March 20, 2022, in South Africa, when she threw 33.35. In her second throw, she threw 36.56m to set a new World record. Nwachukwu broke the Women’s Discus throw F42-44/ F61-64 event World Record twice.
