Crayola launches skin-color crayon

Crayola has launched a skin-colour crayon color to aid pupils and artist paint reflective tones of any skin.  

The 30-year-old handicraft company produced a set of 24 new crayon colors representing 40 global skin tones tagged “colors of the world”.  The goal is to give everyone a sense of being acknowledged and represented.

“Whether at home or in a classroom this (skin-colour) collection gives children a greater opportunity to accurately represent themselves through creativity and self-expression,” said Casale, managing director R&D of MAC cosmetics.
