Zlatan Ibile Drops New Album ‘Symbol of Hope’

Zlatan Ibile, the Nigerian singer, has officially unveiled his highly anticipated album, ‘Symbol of Hope’.

The 15-track project, released in the early hours of Friday, arrives as the culmination of the Afrobeats sensation’s personal and artistic journey.

Announcing the release on Instagram, Zlatan framed the album as a deeply personal gesture, calling it “a love letter to everyone who believed in him”.

The sentiment is woven throughout the project, which serves as both a celebration of his success and a tribute to those who helped him achieve it.

‘Symbol of Hope’ is a star-studded affair, showcasing collaborations with some of the biggest names in the industry.

Zlatan joins forces with YBNL boss Olamide for the energetic ‘Gimme Your Love,’ while Davido brings his signature flair to ‘Hip Hope Messiah’.

In a blend of rap and highlife, the legendary Flavour contributes his sonic dexterity to the track ‘Genesis’.

The album’s tracklist is a collection of sounds, featuring previously released singles like ‘Demons’ with Qing Madi, and a host of new anthems.

Other notable tracks include ‘Jeserawa’ with Shallipopi, Idowest, and TerryTheVoice; ‘PayPal’ with Mayorkun; and ‘Bebe’ featuring the distinct vocals of Victony.

Zlatan dedicated the album to his “fans and dreamers who have stayed real through every season and wake up believing there’s more ahead”.

He extended his gratitude to the producers, featured artistes, and creative minds who helped shape the album’s sound, acknowledging that they “turned ideas into something powerful and timeless”.

He also thanked his team, management, and family, referring to their support as his “anchor”.

Zlatan rose to prominence after the release of his debut studio album in 2019. He is known for hit songs like ‘Zanku’, ‘Shotan’, ‘Lagos Anthem,’ ‘Omo Ologo‘ and ‘Let There Be Light‘.

His path to stardom was paved with hardship, having previously worked as a bricklayer before finding fame.
