With the holiday season just around the corner, Nigerian superstar Yemi Alade has unveiled a vibrant new single titled “Merry Christmas O!”
This cheerful anthem embodies the essence of Christmas—joy, giving, and togetherness. In an Instagram post on Saturday, Alade wrote, “December wey sweet, na from November you go feel am. Fresh!”
The song’s heartfelt lyrics, including “Merry Christmas, Happy New / It’s the season of giving / This is the time for giving and sharing” and “God is the reason for the season,” reflect Alade’s signature uplifting style and celebrate the true meaning of the season.
Earlier this year, Alade released her seventh studio album, “Rebel Queen,” which earned her a Grammy nomination for the song “Tomorrow” in the Best Global Music Performance category.
Her illustrious discography also includes hits like “King of Queens,” “Mama Africa,” “Black Magic,” “Woman of Steel,” and “Empress.”
