Apple Music has unveiled its annual ‘Replay’ year-end rankings for 2025, with superstar Wizkid’s album ‘Morayo‘ claiming the top spot as the most-streamed album in Sub-Saharan Africa.
The streaming platform released the rankings on Tuesday, showcasing a list dominated by Nigerian artistes.
Wizkid’s critically acclaimed ‘Morayo’, released in November 2024, led the list, followed closely by Davido’s ‘5ive’ in second place.
The upper tier of the 22-album list featured several other major Nigerian releases. BNXN’s ‘Captain’, Burna Boy’s ‘No Sign Of Weakness’, and Olamide’s self-titled album secured the fourth, fifth, and sixth positions, respectively.
Rapper Odumodublvck made a notable achievement by securing two entries on the list, with his projects ‘The Machine Is Coming’ and ‘Industry Machine’ both making the cut.
The list was rounded out by other prominent Nigerian acts, including Kizz Daniel, Seyi Vibez, Famous Pluto, Ayo Maff, Fola, Zinoleesky, and Barry Jhay.
