Tiwa Savage has opened up about why she believes God intentionally delayed her rise to fame, attributing it to divine purpose.
In a recent episode of The Receipts podcast, the 44-year-old superstar reflected on her journey and stated that she firmly believes God intentionally postponed her success for a greater purpose.
Savage explained that the delay wasn’t a setback but a way for her to inspire others, particularly women who may feel anxious about achieving success later in life.
“I feel like God did this on purpose,” she said. “I used to wonder why I wasn’t successful in my twenties. My breakthrough came in my thirties, and now I understand it was to bless others.
“It’s for that 25-year-old girl who’s worried about her future. When she looks at my story and sees I started succeeding in my thirties, she’ll think, ‘I still have time.’”
