It’s a hold nothing back situation for female rapper, Cardi B as pulls up with a sexually graphic video for her single, “Press.”
The Grammy award-winning entertainer released the racy video yesterday, June 26, and it is a not safe for work (NSFW) video.
The video opens with the Bronx rapper and another woman kissing before the mother of one is paraded in front of a massive crowd before she goes before a judge. After appearing in an all-white ensemble, Cardi B does a brief dance routine with a troupe of other women while she is naked and covered in blood stains.
The video continues in a crowded courtroom. Cardi B pleads her case while rapping about the new whip that she ordered and the new crib she bought for her daughter, Kulture. After several witnesses try to put the blame on the rapper, Cardi B appears naked once again but this time all her dancers are laid out on the floor.
The Jora Frantzis directed video is likely a reference to her recent strip club assault case as well as a commentary on all the attention she now receives as a major artist.
The vivacious video comes shortly after Cardi B pleaded not guilty to 14 charges. Two of the charges are for felony attempted assault with intent to cause serious physical injury. Cardi B also faces charges of misdemeanor reckless endangerment, harassment, assault, criminal solicitation and conspiracy.
“Press” is Cardi B’s second standalone single — following “Money” since the release of her debut album, “Invasion of Privacy” in 2018. She has also made recent appearances on Offset’s “Clout”, DJ Khaled’s “Wish Wish” and Bruno Mars’ “Please Me”.
