World record holder Tobi Amusan has added another gold medal to her stash. The sprinter participated in the just concluded 100m hurdles race at the Internationales Stadionfest (ISTAF), in Berlin, on Sunday, September 4, 2022. The Internationales Stadionfest is an annual track and field athletics meeting at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin, Germany.
The Nigerian record holder ran a time of 12.45s (-0.3) to win the race ahead of United States’s Tia Jones, who placed second in a time of 12.58s and Jamaica’s Tapper Megan in the third position with 12.66. Amusan is one of the two Nigerians representing Nigeria at the upcoming Diamond League final in Zurich. The other Nigerian is Long Jump champion Ese Brume.
