Nigerian Afrobeats singer and songwriter, Tiwa Savage touched down in London to give a spectacular performance at the 02 Brixton Academy on Saturday, August 13, 2022. The songstress held the concert as part of her ‘Water and Garri’ world tour in Paris, New York, and Toronto, to mention a few. The ‘Water and Garri’ EP was released in 2021 and it has been doing amazing numbers so far.
She headlined the sold-out show at the 02 Academy to complete the final leg of her European tour for ‘Water and Garri’. Fans were able to stream the concert live on certain telecommunication platforms and Tiwa considered it a way of giving back to the society that contributed to her growth as an artiste.
Tiwa Savage is now the first-ever female African Afrobeats artiste to headline the 4,921-capacity O2 Brixton Academy.
