Tiwa Savage, the Nigerian music star, has unveiled her highly anticipated fourth studio album ‘This One Is Personal’.

In an Instagram live session just before the project’s release, Savage, 45, opened up about the challenges she faced while creating the album.
She revealed that critics had doubted the project’s potential, warning that listeners might reject its sonic direction and its lack of features from A-list artistes.
The album features collaborations with a select group of artistes, including Nigerian-born British rapper Skepta, as well as Taves and Flauntleroy.
The tracklist is a mix of powerful anthems and introspective moments, featuring songs like ’I’m Done’, ‘Angel Dust’, ’You4Me’, ’On The Low’, ‘Holding It Down’, ‘10%’, ‘Twisted’, ’Scared Of Love’, ’Pray No More’, and ‘Addicted’.
Others are ’This One Is Personal’ (Interlude), ’Will I Run Again?’, ‘For One Night’, ‘You’re Not The First (You’re Just The Worst), and ‘Change’.
Since her explosive debut, Savage has solidified her status as one of Africa’s most influential and celebrated musical talents. Her groundbreaking work has garnered international acclaim and a multitude of prestigious awards.
‘This One is Personal’ will join her acclaimed discography of studio albums, which includes ‘Once Upon a Time’ (2013), ‘R.E.D’ (2015), and ‘Celia’ (2020).
In July, Savage celebrated 12 years since the release of her debut album, saying she poured her heart into the project and is proud to be still standing.
