Nigerian singer and producer Tekno has joined forces with Mr Eazi’s label services company emPawa Africa, becoming an investor and partner in the venture.
This new partnership will see Tekno’s label, Cartel Music, releasing new music through emPawa Africa, starting with his latest single “Wayo”.
Tekno joins other notable investors, including Grammy-winning DJ and producer Michaël Brun, in supporting emPawa Africa’s mission to empower independent African artists and labels. emPawa Africa provides resources, training, and tools for artists to achieve global success while maintaining their creative and financial freedom.
Mr Eazi, founder of emPawa Africa, via social media said, “This partnership with Tekno and Cartel Music marks a new phase for emPawa. We’re excited to work with African artists at different stages of their careers who want to maintain control over their music and business.”
