With its headquarters in New York, Sony looked to expand its brand to Africa. The music powerhouse has announced opening a new office in Lagos, Nigeria. The company has appointed Godwin Tom as its Managing Director. Godwin Tom is a renowned talent manager, creative entrepreneur, and Chief Executive Officer at iManage Africa.

Sony’s goal is to boost its list of songwriters and composers across the region. Godwin Tom is the perfect man to oversee their expansion and progress as the Head of Sony Music Publishing’s Nigeria division.
