Skiibii, the Nigerian singer, has joined forces with Oxlade for a new single titled ‘Shino‘.
The collaboration was announced by Skiibii and released across streaming platforms on Friday (Feb. 6).

The track, running for two minutes and twenty-two seconds, blends classic Afrobeats rhythms with the distinct, soulful vocal styles of both artistes.
On ‘Shino’, Skiibii provides the songwriting foundation, while Oxlade’s expressive vocal delivery adds emotional depth. The result is a warm, melodic, and immersive record — equally suited for reflective late-night listening or dancefloor play.
Built on laid-back production and an infectious groove, the track seamlessly balances feel-good vibes with heartfelt performance.
Licensed by Dapper Digital Limited, ‘Shino’ arrives as an easy, replay-ready offering from two of Nigeria’s standout vocal talents.
Born Ikuforiji Olaitan Abdulrahman, Oxlade started to gain attention after he released ‘Away’, his 2020 hit single.
The track also made Rolling Stone’s top 50 best song list of 2020, spurring him into the limelight.
Skiibii gained fame in 2014 after he was signed to Five Star Music, a record label owned by E-Money.
He released a couple of songs while at Five Star Music, including ‘Ah Skiibii’ — before leaving to start his own record label.
The singer has continued to enjoy fame in the music landscape with numerous hit songs, including ‘Trenches’.
