Rema’s ‘Calm Down’ Makes Apple Music Global Chart

Nigerian Afrobeats singer Rema has hit a new milestone in his career, and it reaffirms his status as one of the biggest Afrobeats artists. The singer’s song ‘Calm Down’ remix featuring Selena Gomez was listed as the 12th most streamed song on the Apple Music Global chart. The chart was calculated based on plays from November 1, 2022, to October 31, 2023.

According to the list released on November 28, 2023, it makes ‘Calm Down’ the highest entry ever for an African song on the chart. Rema has consistently released hits and delivered electrifying performances throughout the year, and this is a validation that hard work is rewarding.
