The singer’s global hit song ‘Calm Down’ remix broke a new record on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, after it surpassed Wizkid’s ‘Essence’ ft Tems and Justin Bieber, as the highest charting lead Nigerian song in Hot 100 history. The singer also earned his first ever top 10 hit on the Hot 100 with ‘Calm Down.’

The award-winning singer has been hoisting the Afrobeats flag high, and he is not relenting any time soon. It is safe to say that Rema made one of the best career decisions when he collaborated with American singer ‘Selena Gomez’ to release the masterpiece ‘Calm Down’ remix. The song is now Selena’s ninth top 10 hit on the Hot 100.  Fans can’t wait to see what else Rema has in store for them, while they groove to his recently released songs ‘Holiday,’ and ‘Reason You.’
