The Afrobeats genre is one of the biggest genres in the music industry presently, and the artists have managed to enter the international market to increase streams. Nigerian Afrobeats artist Rema earned another international feat for Afrobeats with news of his collaboration with American musician Jason Derulo.

Rema is set to join other international artists like ‘Nicki Minaj,’ ‘French Montana,’ ‘Quavo,’ ‘TY Dollar $,’ and EDM music producer David Guetta on Jason Derulo’s upcoming album ‘Nu King.’ The upcoming twenty-seven-track album is set to be released on February 16, 2024. Derulo has collaborated with Rema’s labelmate Bayanni on his hit song ‘Ta Ta Ta,’ and he is set to collaborate with another Afrobeats artist.
