Phyno, the Nigerian rap star, has released a new track titled ‘Uzo Ano,’ featuring highlife singer Flavour.
The song arrived on streaming platforms on Friday (Feb. 13).

The title, drawn from the Igbo language, translates to “four paths,” setting the stage for a deeply spiritual and reflective body of work.
‘Uzo Ano’ serves as a spiritual meditation on survival, a celebration of hustle, and a bold declaration of dominance — all delivered through Phyno’s signature highlife-rap fusion.
The Enugu-born rapper opens the track on a solemn note, addressing those who have witnessed his journey and acknowledging the dangers, both physical and spiritual, that have marked his path.
In the opening verse, Phyno speaks directly to the spiritual warfare he has faced, concluding with a plea for divine protection and judgment against his enemies.
“Onwebedi ihe ị fuIkpele m no na ana nso/ Ka echi ka tata mma/ Anyị afugo ọkụ mmụọ/ Fa nachọ ka Oku m nyuo/ Mana adiro ama aka/ Nna, a ga na achu aja / Ka ikpe maba ndị mmụọ,” Phyno raps in Igbo language.
Flavour enters with a powerful refrain about resilience and gratitude, reminding listeners why giving up is never an option.
“I get so many reasons why I can’t give up o, oh/ When I remember where I come from, I can’t fuck up o/ Chi nyelum blessings, mpa wa ya ụzọ anọ/ When you share the cake, mpa wa ya ụzọ anọ/ (Yeah, Oji Igbo, wa ya ụzọ anọ)/ I can never lose, no matter wetin dey come my way,” Flavour sings.
