Our Children Are The Future, Especially When They Have The Intellect Of This 12-Year-Old Boy

A 12-year-old boy from Ghana just made headline news for a reason that is bringing intellectual communities to a heel. The young man is Viemens Bamfo. He is now the youngest student in the institution’s history to earn admission into the University of Ghana. BBC had the opportunity to interview the young scholar and his father on their Focus on Africa series. They learned that the young man aspires to be the president of Ghana with ambitions to make the country truly independent by the age of 40. You can listen to the interview HERE.

With further research, and according to news sources, Viemens’s father home-schooled the young scholar as a means to keep expenses low for the family. Little did they know that this choice would become the predication to their young son becoming the youngest student admitted to University of Ghana. Citi Newsroom interviewed the pupil after passing his West Africa Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (WASSCE) in the video below.
