Nigeria has recorded 4 consecutive victories without conceding a single goal during the same edition of the African Cup of Nations for the first time in its history. Nigeria has now qualified for the semi-finals at the AFCONS for the 15th time in its history. This feat has not been achieved by any other nation. Ademola Lookman scored the goal that led Nigeria to victory in the first half against Angola, and they are to face Cape Verde or South Africa next Wednesday at the semi-finals.
