News of the the record label being up for acquisition hit the internet months ago, and it has finally been confirmed that Universal Music Group will be acquiring major shares in Mavin Records. With this nw development, Mavin Records will now be seen as a subsidiary of Universal Music Group. The parties are excited about the partnership, and they look forward to finalizing the contract in the third quarter of 2024.
