Legendary Nigerian Reggae artist, Majek Fashek has been confirmed dead by his long standing Manager, Umenka Uzoma.
Prior to his death, Majek Fashek was best known for his stellar hit song ‘Send Down the Rain. The reggae star was hit by a mysterious illness in the past years.
Announcing the death of the reggae icon on Tuesday, June 2, 2020, Uzoma said, ‘‘Today, I’ve been having pressure calls, well, it is true that the African No 1 Legendary ICON has gone to be with the LORD his Maker, he said.
“Let’s celebrate him, his achievements, and his family, whatever decisions made by his immediate family will be notified.” He stated.
