Popular Cameroonian-American vocal powerhouse has recorded a new feat as her hit song ‘People’ debuts at number 91 on the Billboard Hot 100 Charts. The song was released in December 2022, and it went on to become an international hit song which rocketed the singer’s career and introduced her to a new audience.
The singer eventually featured Afrobeats singer Omah Lay and Sabi girl Ayra Starr on the remix which was released on March 3, 2023. ‘People’ is now the second Afrobeats song on the Billboard chart alongside Rema’s ‘Calm Down’ holding the number 5 position. Labianca is also the third female artist to appear on the chart. The other two artists are Ghanaian singer Amaarae and Nigerian singer Tems.
