Nigerian singer Kizz Daniel was arrested today in Tanzania for a breach of contract. The ‘Buga’ crooner was expected to perform at a paid concert at the Warehouse, at Old Nextdoor Arena in Tanzania, on Sunday, August 7, 2022, but refused to perform at the said concert, despite arriving in the country earlier in the day. The singer allegedly refused to perform due to the unavailability of his clothes.
The disgruntled fans who paid as much as $5000 for tables started vandalizing the property on which the concert was to hold. The fans left the hall angrily after waiting for hours. This seems to not be the first time the Nigerian singer would be accused of canceling shows.
The ‘Buga’ crooner was dragged on social media for standing fans up for up to five hours at his concert in the United States on July 7, 2022. Videos of fans asking for a refund while throwing objects at the singer surfaced online. He also got called out again when he canceled his concert in Denver abruptly on July 28, 2022.
A video of Kizz Daniel being escorted into a police van by some officers as some citizens taunt him has surfaced on social media.
