Johnny Drille, the Nigerian singer-songwriter, has unveiled his latest single ‘Over The Moon’, featuring songstress Tiwa Savage.

The ‘Wait For Me’ hitmaker announced the release of the soulful love song on Friday, confirming its availability across all major streaming platforms.
Produced with a blend of heartfelt lyrics and soothing melodies, ‘Over The Moon’ captures the euphoria of love, with the duo expressing the overwhelming joy and divine connection they share with their partners.
The lyrics paint love as a sweet, destined experience that brings healing and happiness so intense it feels like flying beyond the moon.
“Falling in love with you been no dey my plan, na God plan/ As e dey sweeting me for my body odi oo/ Making everything dey turning oni own/ Until forever whenever/ Na things you dey do/ Wey dey make me feel/ Over the moon/ Take me/ Over to you/ And I/ Do me what nobody do/ For you/ I’m over the moon/ Take me/ Over the moon,” the lyrics read.
Born John Ighodaro, Drille joined Mavin Records in 2017 after his unique sound caught the attention of Don Jazzy, the music label boss.
Since then, he has released numerous singles that have turned out to be successful.
He has also received several awards and recognition for his craft. In 2019, he won the ‘Best Alternative Song’ award at The Headies.
Savage, on the other hand, is a highly celebrated singer and songwriter. She has established herself as one of the most prominent names in the Nigerian music landscape.
In 2018, she became the first female African artiste to win Best African Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards. In 2019, she signed a major deal with Universal Music Group.
