It’s Official. The Music World Needs African artists and Sounds

As if you needed any more proof, Beyonce’s album Renaissance features a heavy South African sound with one of her songs even written by the Nigerian artists Tems. This caps a period of time in which Drake, Future, Ty Dolla $ign, Chris Brown, Brandy just to name a few have reached out to African artists to help them take their sound to the future. Artists like Ed Sheeran who have already seen the pinnacle of their career can be seen featuring Afrobeats artists like Fireboy DML and Burna Boy.
