Cardi B Files For Divorce From Offset

The three-year marriage between rappers Cardi B and Offset is reportedly coming to an end as the former has officially filed for divorce.

TMZ reports that on Tuesday, Cardi filed a petition for the dissolution of marriage in Georgia. She is listed as the plaintiff and Offset is listed as the defendant. The rapper is also seeking primary physical and legal custody of their 2-year-old daughter, Kulture.

The duo got married in 2017 going through a bumpy marriage amidst cheating allegations surrounding Offset. They seemed to have strengthened their bond and moved on from the past.

A few days ago, CardiB posted a mysterious message on her Instagram story reading, “Her heart finally told her to stop wasting her time.” The WAP rapper added to the post, “It’s time”, followed by a wink emoji. It’s suspected that the story and her actions are connected.

Neither Cardi nor Offset have addressed the news of the filing.

Tory Lanez Charged in Megan Thee Stallion Shooting

Rapper Tory Lanez, born Daystar Peterson, has been charged in connection with a shooting similar to what Megan Thee Stallion accused him of.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office announced on Thursday that the 28-year-old rapper has been charged with one felony count of assault with a semiautomatic firearm and one count of carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle. He also faces a gun allegation and that he personally inflicted great bodily injury.

Lanez is scheduled to be appear before the court to give his plea on October 13. If Lanez is convicted, he faces a maximum sentence of 22 years and eight months in state prison.

Records revealed that Lanez sent an apology text to Megan saying, “I was just too drunk.” While the news of the shooting spread since July, Megan did not confirm Tory Lanez actually shot her in her feet until an Instagram Live on August 20th.

Keeping Up With The Kardashians Will Air Its Final Season in 2021

The Kardashians are kalling it kuits on their reality TV series, Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

In an emotional post, Kim Kardashian made the announcement on Tuesday across her social media platforms. She wrote, “To our amazing fans — It is with heavy hearts that we’ve made the difficult decision as a family to say goodbye to Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”

“After what will be 14 years, 20 seasons, hundreds of episodes and numerous spin-off shows, we are beyond grateful to all of you who’ve watched us for all of these years – through the good times, the bad times, the happiness, the tears, and the many relationships and children. We’ll forever cherish the wonderful memories and countless people we’ve met along the way”, she added.

The entrepreneur and reality TV star continued, thanking Ryan Seacrest, E! and all who contributed to he success of the show.

Expressing gratitude to fans for the love and support over the decade, Kim concluded, “Without Keeping Up with The Kardashians, I wouldn’t be where I am today. I am so incredibly grateful to everyone who has watched and supported me and my family these past 14 incredible years. This show made us who we are and I will be forever in debt to everyone who played a role in shaping our careers and changing our lives forever.”

While we don’t know for sure why the family chose to pull the plug on the show, it looks like the decision was made to see actualise some deeply desired change. Khloe Kardashian tweeted after the news broke, “I love you guys so much!!! Thank you for everything!!! The emotions are overflowing today. Change is tough but sometimes needed. I can’t express how much I love and appreciate you guys.”

The show’s twentieth and final season will air in 2021.

Tory Lanez Sent Megan Thee Stallion An Apology Text After Shooting: “I Just Got Too Drunk”

Tory Lanez sent Megan Thee Stallion an apology hours after the shooting while she was in the hospital, according to text messages seen by TMZ.

The Canadian rapper texted her: “I know u prolly never gone talk to me again, but I genuinely want u to know I’m sorry from the bottom of my heart.”

He attempted to provide an excuse for his actions saying: “I was just too drunk.” Tory did not specifically mention the use of a gun or a shooting but he expressed remorse for actions he made writing: “None the less s**t should have never happened and I can’t change what did. I just feel horrible.”

His texts were never responded to.

Megan did not confirm Tory Lanez actually shot her in her feet until an Instagram Live on August 20th.

“You shot me,” she said, addressing Lanez in her video. “And you got your publicist and your people going to these blogs lying and sh*t. Stop lying. Why lie? I don’t understand.”

TMZ reports that Tory has not been arrested or charged for the shooting, but the L.A. County D.A. is considering charging him with felony assault with a firearm.
