Nigerian Celebs Lead Online Protest To Demand Justice For Victims Of Sexual Violence

Nigerian Celebrities have joined the current protest of sexual harassment on women and and poor leadership in the country.

Tiwa Savage, Don Jazzy and Wizkid have been at the forefront of leading the online protest, following the recurring cases of violent against young women

However, it is stated that the outcry is in response to the recent deaths of Vera Uwaila Omozuma, known as Uwa, who was killed in a church in Benin City and reportedly raped prior to being killed, as well as 16-year-old student Tina Ezekwe who was shot dead by police in Lagos who opened virus while enforcing a COVID curfew, and an 18-year-old woman known as Jennifer, who was raped by five men in Kaduna in April.

With this development, Nigerian celebrities recently joined the campaign displaying placards and short videos.
