In honor of the 1969 Stonewall riot in New York City as a protest against numerous accounts of police harassment and general wide ranged persecution on LGBTQ Americans, The LGBTQ Pride Month; celebrated each year in the month of June became ‘a thing’. This noble celebration of identity and the struggle for equal right, commemorates its 50th anniversary this year.

The celebration over the years has grown from small in door gatherings to pride parades, picnics, workshops and even concerts, attracting the very best of the best of performers in the world.
This year has seen the best of celebrations so far in the history of the Pride month. Most recent of which is the LA Pride 2019 concert in West Hollywood Calif; first in history of Pride celebrations, featuring performances by Meghan Trainer, Asiahn, Paula Abdul, Todrick Hall, The Veronicas, Ah-Mer-Ah-Su, cupcake and a host of others.
It was indeed a wonderful time. As we proceed in the month, it is not doubt that the concluding days in the month of June will be noting short of the best times for partakers of the Pride.
