It’s a big one for Nollywood and American actor Idris Elba as he makes his directorial debut in Nollywood. The Hollywood actor and director is set to explore more as he commits to the production of the upcoming Nollywood movie ‘Dust To Dreams.’ The movie boasts of a stellar cast which includes Nse Ikpe-Etim, Eku Edewor, Constance Olatunde, and legendary singer Seal.
The actor collaborates with superproducer Mo Abudu to bring the movie to reality. ‘Dust To Dreams’ is set in the bustling metropolis of Lagos, Nigeria, and is an emotional rollercoaster of a story that delves deep into a mother-daughter relationship, as they embark on a journey to meet the father for the first time. Idris Elba made his feature directorial debut in 2018 with British crime drama “Yardie.”The duo is set to introduce the spectacular goodness of Nollywood to a new demographic and we are here for it.
