Young Jonn, the singer, revealed that his transition from producer to artist was unexpected.
In an interview with Revolt, he said he never planned to be an artist, but life had other plans.
“I never really planned to be an artist, but life played out,” he said.
Young Jonn described his journey as a learning experience, stating that being an artist is a different ball game, hustle, grind, and business.
“It was a learning process. It’s a whole different ball game. It’s a whole different hustle, grind and business. It took me time, but I think I’m getting hold of it”, he said.
He admitted that it took time, but he’s getting the hang of it, adding that he drew inspiration from notable artists like Olamide, Kizz Daniel, and Lil Kesh while finding his footing.
