Burkina Faso’s triple jumper rose to victory at the 2023 World Athletic Championships in Budapest after he won Gold at the Triple Jump Final on Monday, August 21, 2023. Zango secured the first-ever World Athletic Championships Gold title won by Burkina Faso.
The triple jumper leaps out to 17.64m at the triple jump final to win the World Champion title. The athlete who ranked number two in the world surpassed Cuba’s Lazaro Martinez, who won silver with 17.41m on his fifth attempt. Zango has been celebrated nationally and internationally.
