George Floyd: Music Executives Escalates Protest

The music industry has taken a step against the untimely demise of George Floyd – a victim of racism as he gave up the ghost a few hours after being manhandled by white cops – as protest continues.

Music executives Jamila Thomas and Brianna Agyemang spearheaded the effort, creating a website urging supporters to “take a beat for an honest, reflective and productive conversation about what actions we need to collectively take to support the black community.”

The movement spread to social media, with many posting black squares on their Instagram and Facebook accounts to lend support against the brutal killing of George Floyd.

Do you ever think racism against blacks will end anytime soon?
