TurnTable Charts has announced its year-end rankings for 2025, with Fido’s uplifting anthem ‘Joy Is Coming’ claiming the coveted title of Nigerian song of the year.

To compile its official rankings, the platform utilises a comprehensive blend of data. Its airplay chart is powered by Radiomonitor, a leading British radio tracking company, while its Top Streaming chart aggregates data from major platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, Boomplay, Audiomack, YouTube, and radio streams.

Released on Monday, the year-end top 10 list was dominated by ‘Joy Is Coming’, which achieved a rare and decisive clean sweep of all major charts — the only song to do so in the past two years.

Its performance across the 52-week tracking period was staggering. The song accumulated 87.2 million on-demand streams, securing the year-end No. 1 position on the streaming chart. It also registered 1.56 billion radio airplay impressions, finishing at No. 4 on the year-end radio chart.

Securing the second spot was Davido’s collaborative single ‘With You’ featuring Omah Lay. Shallipopi’s ‘Laho’ and Wizkid’s ‘Kese (Dance)’ rounded out the top four, finishing in third and fourth place, respectively.
