Speaking about the project to Apple Music, the ‘Awolowo’ hitmaker said the EP is a reflection of his struggles and growth.

“It reflects on my journey from where I came from in Ogun State. All of these eight songs are about my journey from my hood to now; a famous artist in the global space,” he said.

The body of work includes tracks like ‘Dollarpor’, ‘Omo Ologo’, ‘Joy Is Coming’, ‘Lungu’ and ‘Boko’.

Others are ‘Money Moves’, ‘I Miss You Die’ and the remix of his viral song ‘Joy Is Coming’.

The singer had earlier put out two songs off the EP — which are ‘Money Moves’ and ‘Joy Is Coming’.

In ‘I Miss You Die’, Fido takes a romantic turn, singing about his unwavering love for a mystery partner whom he describes as his “peace in chaos”.

‘Money Moves’ sees the singer flaunts his financial wins while clapping back at critics.

Born Awosika Olayemi, Fido gained mainstream recognition with his breakout single ‘Awolowo’ and began his career under Inner Circle Entertainment.

Earlier this year, his label Oosha Records announced a partnership with global music company EMPIRE, signaling a new phase in his career.

In March, the singer came under fire after accusing his former marketing company Inner Circle Entertainment of financial mismanagement.
