Davido has released the official visuals for “Funds”, his latest single featuring Odumodublvck and Chike.
“Funds” is a teaser from Davido’s highly anticipated forthcoming album, ‘5IVE’.
“Funds” pays homage to the late South African music legend Brenda Fassie, sampling her iconic 1997 hit “Vuli Ndlela”. In a heartfelt tribute, Davido dedicates the video to Fassie’s memory, blending nostalgia with contemporary Afrobeat vibes.
Directed by Dammy Twitch, the music video unfolds in an auction house, with renowned actor Gabriel Afolayan playing the role of the auctioneer.
Davido takes his seat in the room, soon joined by Beauty Tukura, former BBNaija housemate, as they compete in an intense auction, showcasing their wealth and status.
Odumodublvck and Chike bring their unique artistry to the video, delivering standout performances that elevate the song’s energy. Their dynamic presence adds depth and flavor to the narrative.
