SOUTH AFRICAN RAND NOW AVAILABLE ON BINANCE!

Binance has announced that its users will now be able to deposit and withdraw the South African rand (ZAR) to and from their Binance wallets. This new addition will increase the adoption and mainstream accessibility of crypto in South Africa. The service rolled out in two phases. Phase 1, enables Binance users to deposit South African Rands into their Binance wallets and convert ZAR to bitcoin (BTC), binance USD (BUSD), ethereum (ETH), tether (USDT), and binance coin (BNB).  Phase 2 includes ZAR fiat withdrawals for all Binance users and it was launched on 25th of August, 2022.

GOOGLE WALLET NOW IN AFRICA.

Google Wallet has rolled out in South Africa and five other countries across the world. The Google Pay app will be folded into the wallet and discontinued as an individual app in the country. The wallet app was launched in partnership with banks like FirstRand Absa, Nedbank, Standard Bank, Discovery Bank, and Investec. The Google Wallet features Google Pay, which facilitates payment at points of sale (POS) Users can tap-yes, tap-their phones on POS devices and authenticate themselves with a fingerprint, their face, or a pin to pay for goods or services.
