African Giant Burna Boy has recorded a new feat after winning the award for the Best International Act at the 2023 edition of the Black Entertainment Awards ‘BET Awards.’ The artiste won the award ahead of other nominees like ‘Ayra Star,’ ‘Central Cee,’ ‘Stormzy,’ ‘Uncle Waffles’ and others at the awards show on Monday, June 26, 2023.
Burna Boy has proven to be one of the greatest Afrobeats exports, and he has awards to show for it. This is the third time Burna Boy is winning an award in this category, and he is the first African artist to attain such a record. The artist won a BET award in the same category in 2019 and 2021. Burna Boy has had a great career year so far since he released his 2022 album ‘Love Damini’ which has earned him a lot of awards.
He also released a remix of his latest song ‘Sittin’ On Top Of The World’ featuring 21 Savage on Friday, June 23, 2023, and it has been streamed heavily by fans.
