Burna Boy electrified a sold-out crowd at the Peacock Centre in Los Angeles, showcasing his dynamic talent and captivating stage presence.
The concert, part of the two-day event dubbed “Headliners Only,” featured the Nigerian superstar alongside American-Senegalese icon Akon, creating an unforgettable musical experience.
Amidst a lineup of his greatest hits, Burna Boy gave fans an exclusive sneak peek of an unreleased track from his highly anticipated upcoming album, expected to be released in 2025.
This marked the second time he previewed new music this year, following his earlier tease of “Empty Chairs.”
2024 has been a monumental year for Burna Boy. He made history in February as the first African artist to perform at the Grammy Awards’ main ceremony, also becoming the first Nigerian to earn a nomination as a lead artist outside of the Global categories.
So far, he has released only one single this year, “Higher,” which featured an emotional music video that took viewers on a journey back to his hometown. The song has proven to be a chart-topper, spending multiple weeks at the TurnTable Top 100.
In addition to his solo work, Burna Boy has made several notable guest appearances this year, including contributing to TiTom and Yuppe’s hit “Twala Bam” and collaborating with Coldplay and Little Simz on the powerful track “We Pray.”
