The cast and crew of the anticipated Marvel movie Black Panther: Wakanda Forever made their way to Lagos a few days ago for the premiere of the movie which is set to release across cinemas on November 11, 2022. The premiere was held on Sunday, November 6, 2022, at Filmhouse IMAX Cinema, Lekki, Lagos. The premiere was a first of its kind as it was the first time a Disney/Marvel movie will be premiered locally.
The sequel had an advanced screening at the IMAX cinema before its general release. The first Black Panther movie remains the No. 1 film in both East and West Africa. It had its premiere in Johannesburg, South Africa in 2018. The 2022 premiere was attended by both local and international celebrities, filmmakers, and influencers.
