Nigerian Afrobeats artist Asake surprised his fans with an unannounced track to celebrate his birthday, and they have taken to their social media accounts to appreciate the artist’s lyrical prowess and talent. The song titled ‘Only Me’ is the artist’s first single of the year and it was released on different music streaming apps on Saturday, January 13, 2024.
Asake had a successful run in 2023 with the release of his sophomore album ‘Work Of Art’ which placed him in the international market and debuted on several international charts. The talented artist’s hit song ‘Lonely At The Top’ was also nominated at the Grammys under the Best African Music Performance category, and the ceremony is scheduled for February 2024.
