Sensational Afrobeats artist Asake has recorded a new feat in his career and it’s one to be applauded. The internationally recognized artist performed at the O2 Arena on Sunday, August 20, 2023, to a 20,000 audience. Asake’s team announced that he had sold-out tickets for the 20,000-capacity Arena days before the show.
There was also provision for fans to stream the concert live on Youtube, and over 70,000 fans tuned in to watch their superstar’s energetic performances. Artists like ‘Tiwa Savage,’ ‘Olamide,’ ‘Lil Kesh,’ ‘Fireboy,’ and ‘Tunde Baiyewu’ gave beautiful performances at the show.
Asake’s growth has been phenomenal since his breakthrough in the music industry, and some of his notable achievements are;
- The release of his debut album ‘Mr Money With The Vibe’ which debuted at no. 66 on Billboard Top 200. It was the first debut album by a Nigerian artist to achieve this feat.

- It is now the most streamed album of the year, with nearly 25 million streams across all digital streaming platforms.
