Amusan finishes second in Diamond League

World record holder Tobi Amusan competed at the Diamond League meeting in Lausanne. The record holder contested against other sprinters for the 100m hurdles. Fans hoped to see Amusan will win the race one more time as she had done at Birmingham and Oregon, but the race proved to be tough this time.

Amusan had a good start in the star-studded race, but Puerto Rico’s Jasmine Camacho-Quinn won the race after she ran a Meet Record of 12.34s. Amusan finished second with a recorded time of 12.45s. However, Amusan’s time was enough for her to qualify for the final leg of the Diamond League set to take place in Zurich.
