MoBlack, the Italian DJ and producer, has delivered a remake of ‘With You’, the hit collaboration between Afrobeats superstar Davido and sensation Omah Lay.

Originally featured on Davido’s recent album ‘5ive’, the track debuted at No. 4 on the UK Afrobeats Singles Chart upon its April release via Columbia Records. 

In an Instagram post, MoBlack described his remix as a “cultural and sonic collision”, blending tribal percussion, atmospheric synths, and late-night house energy to create a deep, meditative dancefloor experience.

While preserving Davido and Omah Lay’s soulful vocals, the remix reimagines the song with an underground club vibe maintaining its Afrobeats roots while expanding its global appeal.

“This remix felt natural, Davido and Omah Lay’s vocals carry so much soul I wanted to let that breathe in a space that felt both intimate and transcendent. It’s Afrobeat at its heart, but built for the underground,” he wrote. 

“Davido’s fifth album 5IVE, released this April, continues to break records and expectations. 

“The project debuted at #7 on the UK Albums Chart, marking David’s highest chart position to date, and has been praised internationally.”

MoBlack, born Mimmo Falcone, started his career as a radio broadcaster. He is a DJ, producer, record label owner, and music influencer. 

The producer grew up in Ghana in the early 2000s, where he was exposed to African music.
